7 Acts after having meal.. DON'T DO!!!

Please don't act on this 7 actions after having meal:-

1. DON'T EAT FRUIT IMMEDIATELY
- Immediately eating fruits after meals will cause stomach to be bloated with air. Therefore take fruit 1-2 hr after meal or 1hr before meal.

2. DON'T DRINK TEA
- Because tea leaves contain a high content of acid. This substance will cause the Protein content in the food we consume to be hardened thus difficult to digest.


3. DON'T SMOKE
- Experiment from experts proves that smoking a cigarette after meal is comparable to smoking 10 cigarettes (chances of cancer is higher).

4. DON'T LOOSEN YOUR BELT
Loosening the belt after a meal will easily cause the intestine to be twisted & blocked.

5. DON'T BATHE
- Bathing after meal will cause the increase of blood flow to the hands, legs & body thus the amount of blood around the stomach will therefore decrease. This will weaken the digestive system in our stomach.

6. DON'T WALK
- People always say that after a meal walk a hundred steps and you will live till 99. In actual fact this is not true. Walking will cause the digestive system to be unable to absorb the nutrition from the food we intake.

7. DON'T SLEEP IMMEDIATELY
- The food we intake will not be able to digest properly. Thus will lead to gastric & infection in our intestine.

The benefits of different fruits

What is the correct way of eating fruits?

We all think eating fruits means just buying fruits, cutting it and just popping it into our mouths. But it's not as easy as we think. It's important to know how and when to eat.

Fruits should be eating on an empty stomach.


If we eat fruit like that, it will play a major role to detoxify our system, supplying us with a great deal of energy for weight loss and other life activities.

e always heard people complaining:- every time I eat watermelon I burp; when I eat durian my stomach bloats up; when I eat a banana I feel like running to the toilet; etc...

Actually all this will not arise if we eat the fruit on an empty stomach. The fruit mixes with the putrefying other food and produces gas and hence we will bloat!

Graying hair, balding, nervous outburst, and dark circles under the eyes all these will NOT happen if we take fruits on an empty stomach.

When we need to drink fruit juice, we should drink only fresh fruit juice, NOT from the cans. Don't even drink juice that has been heated up. Don't eat cooked fruits because we don't get the nutrients at all. We only get to taste. Cooking destroys all the vitamins.

But eating a whole fruit is better than drinking the juice. When we drink the juice, drink it mouthful by mouthful slowly, because we must let it mix with our saliva before swallowing it. You can go on a 3-day fruit fast to cleanse your body. Just eat fruits and drink fruit juice throughout the 3 days and you will be surprised when your friends tell you how radiant you look!

Can u believe this?? Recently I have just read from an article, and taken a shock!

For those who like to drink cold water like me, this article may applicable to you, too. It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal.

However, the article mentioned that cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion. Once this 'sludge' reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.

Recently I read an email mentioned that benefit of the Barley and Ginger for our health.

A Cancer Killer in the Kitchen - Ginger 
The powerful healing effects of ginger have been well documented.

The benefit of Ginger:-
1. It's a proven remedy for upset stomach.
2. It inhibits inflammation.
3. It fights cancer.
4. So on, etc...

With all these health benefits, you should be using ginger as often as you can. The best way to get a healthy serving of ginger is to juice it.
Within two or three days a week, you can try to juice an apple or two, some carrots, spinach, broccoli, cabbage, with a big piece of ginger root.
The ginger gives the drink a great flavor and a powerful anti-cancer kick.
I highly recommend that you try it.

Healing and cleansing with Barley 

Benefit of Barley:-
1. High in fiber.
2. Kidney cleanser.
3. If regular intake of it helps prevent heart disease.
4. It's helps prevent haemorrhoids and colon cancer.
5. It's also help lower cholesterol and prevent the formation of gallstones.
6. It is also high in niacin, B vitamin good for lowering cholesterol.

Here's a recipe for barley & ginger soup:

Barley soup with roasted garlic
1 cup pearl barley
5 cloves whole garlic, roasted
2 litres chicken stock, steeped from 1 chicken breast simmered in three litres water
2 tbsps vegetable oil
2 large onions, diced
2 carrots, diced
2 stalks celery, diced
150g turkey ham, cut up
1 tsp ground white pepper
1 tsps sea salt or to taste
1 tbsp chopped parsley

Method
1. Wash barley and soak it in a bowl of water for three hours. Drain.
2. Heat oil in pan and fry onions. Add carrots and celery, then the barley and fry for three minutes.
3. Add chicken stock, pepper and roasted garlic and simmer over low heat for at least an hour, or until barley is soft.
4. Add salt to taste and serve the soup garnished with chopped parsley.
